Calling herself the "quintessential boomerang," Barkha has a long relationship with Weber Shandwick, previously working as the General Manager of our Thailand office and now as the General Manager of our Singapore office and as a regional client relationship lead.
I used to be an avid trekker and made it to base camp on Everest. I still have an ambition to scale the peak, but we’ll see.

How long have you worked at Weber Shandwick?
I am the quintessential boomerang at Weber Shandwick. This is my fourth stint with the firm. I originally started working at Weber Shandwick in 2002 and have previously worked in Thailand. Now, I'm based in Singapore.

What's your favorite thing about living in Singapore?
The fact that I can live my life on autopilot. It’s a city that is so convenient. Everything always works and is frictionless, so you can focus on what you want to do.
What’s your favorite restaurant in Singapore?
Margaritas at Dempsey. Of course the food is great, but the ambiance and the service is so welcoming.

Most likely to be found in the office pantry secretly arranging people’s cups by size, color, design, and height.
What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?
Probably a highly-private luxury villa in Bali. Tucked away, very hard to find, very over-the-top.
If you weren't working in this industry, what would you want to do?
Probably interior decorating or architect or running a pet cafe.
What’s your favorite street food you’ve ever eaten?
It’s an Indian dish, Sev Puri, which is a beautiful blend of savory and sweet.
What’s something surprising people might not know about you?

Spending time at home with my family, reading, and to really take time to smell the roses.
